It’s rather easy to become preoccupied with the proceedings occurring in Springfield this time of year. The waiting and speculation becomes trying, and everyone who is familiar with Envision and the work we do is acutely aware of the potential consequences.
Yet now more than ever, we must think positively; and be strengthened by the good things that happen consistently at our agency program sites. I am consistently humbled by the courage and dedication of the people we support. Day in and day out, they come to work; and every day, they continue the pursuit of lifetimes with more opportunities. These journeys are challenging, and each person we support must overcome many obstacles on the path that leads to a lifetime with more choice, independence and community integration.

Foundation Donor of Distinction

The Regenstein Foundation

In 2010, The Regenstein Foundation invested in Envision Unlimited’s Therapeutic Arts Program with a three-year grant award of $30,000 annually. This generous support has allowed the agency to cultivate one of the premier art programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Chicago.

The Judy Henry Ceramic Center

The Henry Family has helped Envision in countless ways. This resource for self-expression was made possible by a generous donation from Albert J. Henry, in honor of his sister, Judy, who was a long-time participant of agency programming. The Judy Henry Ceramic Center was created to be a loving, lasting legacy to Judy and the entire Henry Family.
