Generous donation propels critical agency fundraising drive a fast start
In October, CARC received a generous donation of $3,000 from the Ventas Charitable Foundation to be directed to the 2009 Annual Appeal. Ventas, Inc., an S&P 500 company, is one of the nation’s leading owners of seniors housing and healthcare properties, with over 500 assets located in the United States and Canada. The Ventas Charitable Foundation was established in 2005 to support charitable and philanthropic causes important to the communities in which Ventas operates and to its employees.
Thanks to the Ventas Charitable Foundation, Inc. and numerous other generous donors, the 2009 Annual Appeal is off to an excellent start. Because of a Challenge Grant from a Chicago foundation, the Annual Appeal is an effective generator of discretionary revenue—funds which may be directed to the CARC programs where they are most needed.

While the Challenge Grant provides the opportunity for CARC to maximize the benefit of your generosity, it will only match the donations we receive.
