Senior Services

Envision's Senior's Program provides an array of community based and site-based activities for aging adults with developmental disabilities. The program works with the specific abilities of individual participants and offers flexible work options, along with numerous life-enriching classes. Most Importantly, Envision's Senior's Program connects aging adults to a supportive community of peers and staff—breaking the isolation felt by many senior citizens.

Envision's Senior's Program is part of the Division of Day and Employment Services. The program is licensed as a Developmental Training Site by the Illinois Department of Human Services and is accredited by CARF in Community Integration Services with a special population designed for Older Adults.

Program staff includes a case manager / QMRP and five full time direct support staff. There is also a half time staff person. All Staff meet requirements for the Illinois QMRP Registry (if applicable) and Public Health Aide Registry, and complete all training mandated by the State of Illinois. A licensed practical nurse also works in the program on a half time, consultant basis.
